GET TO KNOW ME!

My names Bethany, a year one student studying Fashion Communication and Promotion (FCP) at Norwich University of The Arts. With an interest in art, photography and editorial design I hope to work in the publication industry either as a fashion photographer or as part of an editorial team.

 

In the past I was a part of my college’s student ran newspaper ‘The Heathfield Vine’. Whilst being at university I have continued obtaining valuable experience in the specialism in which I hope to work for and I am currently part of the editorial team for Norwich University of The Arts student ran publication ‘Storehouse’.

 

On this website I have displayed a number of blog posts as part of my BA1a project into Fashion Contexts. These blog posts are in response to an exhibition, Vice Chancellor talk and Industry guest lecture. Alongside a post exploring the historical context of Vivienne Westwood's corsetry and a reflective learning summery.

This website also displays a series of blog posts created for my BA1b Fashion Industry Awareness project. These blogs focus on the exploration of potential career paths post-graduation and include Q&A's with creatives within the industry, research based blogs and content created in response to Industry guest lecture talks alongside a reflective learning summery.
